Senior Team: Oram were the visitors to St Victor's Park last Saturday evening for what is always an eagerly anticipated fixture. Toome had a bright start, an scores from Gavin Flanagan, Alan Lambe and Daniel Friskey gave us an early cushion. Oram, as they always will, made life difficult, with scores proving harder to come by as the half wore on. Scores from Liam and Gary kept us narrowly in front at the break. Toome 0-5, Oram 0-4.

The break seemed to have put a bit of life back into both teams, and a rare right footed effort from Gavin, followed quickly by a score from Liam, were quickly pegged back by 2 from Oram. Shane Moore and the impressive Daniel Friskey then restored the 3 point margin. However, Oram weren't finished, and a penalty from Aaron Molloy, coupled with well taken points either side of that left them 2 in front, with 10 to go. The consensus among the sages on the hill was that the next couple of scores would prove crucial, and well taken points from Gary and Cormac levelled the game, and swung the momentum our way. We reeled off 4 points in a row from Gary, Gavin (2) and Liam in an impressive last 10 minutes to make the final score Toome 0-15, Oram 1-8.
