WELL DONE TO THE LADS SATURDAY GREAT VICTORY AND THEY DIDNT PLAY TO FULL POTENTIAL. SULLIVAN MAGUIRE & REILLY COULD HAVE PLAYED A LOT BETTER SO BRIGHT FUTURE FOR THE CLUB

The talent is definitely within the Blacks but there's usually too many internal issues to put up with, too many ego's.
When you look at the lads that have passed through the last 10 years it's unreal that the Blacks have not captured a few Keegan Cups not many clubs in Meath have had lads of the club player calibre of Charles, Justin & John McCarthy, Hugh Gribben, John Davis, Joey Farrelly, John Geoghegan, Paddy, Kit, Alan, Razor, Davy, Karl & Neil Reynolds, Donal Kennedy, Ronan Conaty, Killian Kennedy, Bomber Barry, Davy Maguire, Tom Walsh, Gareth McGuinness, Paddy Woods, the list goes on and on!!!

One of Walterstowns main problems is the lack of hard training, The no-- on the U21 team is a good footballer but seemed to be a bit heavy, any thoughts?

can see ur point.. if a player is serious about winnin an under 21 medal for his club the least he can do is lay off the scones and cakes for a while..

would yews lay off the chap hopefully next year he can hold down his place in midfield for the seniors and not be shoved out to wing forward like he was this year in a couple of games. he also has another year at under 21 so he is still very raw plenty of potential.

If Walterstown couldn't win the keegan cup with the batch of lads i mentioned earlier on this thread, they're not going to win one with this new batch!

Well, many of the aforementioned names by bennyblanco were quality players but many only had self interest at heart. Some lucky to be included at all. At the end of the day achieved little if nothing and no point reminiscing about something that never happened. In relation to a certain player carrying weight its true. Hopefully this bunch will stick together and end the drought that has been in walterstown for many a year.
