Schools: Storm Brian cuts programme short

The Allianz sponsored Meath Cumann Na mBunscol Hurling and Camogie finals were cut short this morning due to the very wet and windy conditions at Lomans Park Trim.

Three of the eight finals managed to be played before the pitch became unplayable at the Trim venue.There were wins for neighbouring schools Dunderry and Robinstown while Baconstown created a little piece of history when claiming their first ever Division 1 camogie title.

The remaining finals will be played next week.
