Moynalty/Carnaross qualified for the U17 Special Championship final with this convincing win over Summerhill in Moynalty Friday night.

Cian Mc Glynn and Paddy Mc Dermott put Moynalty/Carnaross before Summerhill replied with a goal and a point. The team in Red and Yellow dominated the remainder of the half with scores from Bryan Mc Cormack 1-02, Kyle Cussen 2-01, Paddy Mc Dermott 0-02 and Shane Yore 0-02 to go in at the break 3-9 to 1-1 in front.

Summerhill opened the second half scoring with two points before Cormac Yore replied for the winners. The visitors then got a goal from a penalty and a point from a free. Shane Yore settled Moynalty/Carnaross with a goal as the home team went on to record a 4-14 to 2-08 win and seal a place in the final.
