Na Fianna travelled to Navan on Thursday night and got the vital win to ensure progression to the quarter-final.

Na Fianna were dominant for much of this game, with late goals from O Mahony's giving the away side a scare.

Na Fianna led by 2-10 to 0-3 at half time with Shane Walsh in good form hitting 2-04.

A goal just after half time from David Maher and further points from Oisin McCloskey and Kean Flynn saw Na Fianna sixteen points ahead with ten minutes remaining.

Late goals closed the deficit but Na Fianna held on for the win to set up a meeting with Simonstown on Tuesday 26th September in the MFC quarter final.
