Wolfe Tones 1-13 Summerhill 3-8
Summerhill held on for a one point win despite sustained Tones pressure.
'The Hill' led by 2-5 to 1-5 at half time. Tones got back level by the end of the third quarter but Summerhill hit three points without reply and seemed set for victory before a spirited Tones fight back got them level with just minutes remaining. However a fortuitous Summerhill goal again gave them a 3 point lead heading into injury time. Tones added 2 points and although camped in the Summerhill half could not get the equalising score.
