Dunderry maintained their 100% record in this Round 2 of the I.F.C in Kildalkey on a very warm night. 

The winners opened the scoring in the 4th min from Davy McCormack after he broke 3 tackles and put over a fine point. Longwood replied in the 5th min and took the lead in the 9th followed by another point in the 14th min. Bob Doherty scored after winning a high ball and pointed over his left shoulder. Minutes later Morgan Callaghan fed Alan Watters who calmly slotted over a superb point levelling the score. 

Dunderry continued the scoring with 5 points in a 6 minute spell four coming from the boot of Meath Junior Stephen Coogan. Fellow county man Conor Farrell closed out the scoring in added time to give Dunderry a 0-8 to 0-4 interval lead.

The 2nd half started with Dunderry opening the scoring with a fine point from Conor Daly. Coogan scored another free in the 37th min. Longwood brought themselves back into the game too bring the score too within 2 points when they had a one on one but Dunderry keeper David Jennings pulled off a brilliant save tipping over a powerful shot for a point. Daly and Farrell finished off the scoring leaving the score 0-12 to 0-10 in favour of Dunderry.
