Two decisive scores a goal in the 60th minute followed by a 61st minute point propelled the Cilles to victory in this tight affair at Curraha

Even though Nobber fought back with Gavin Farrelly and Gordon Weldon points they came up short

The first period was dominated by Nobber with Gavin Farrelly winning the bulk of possesion at midfield and with good play from Thomas McCormack

Aidan Shields, Colin Clarke, Dara Cassidy and Ryan Hughes they built up a 5 point interval lead

On the resumption the Cilles were a very much rejuvenated side and kept chipping away at Nobbers lead and only for some brilliant saves from keeper Christopher O Reilly which also included a penalty save 

Nobbers plight could have been greater. Sub Gordon Weldon steadied the Nobber ship with points in the 49th and 54th minutes before the Cilles vital scores
