Camogie: Another win for Ratoath

June 23, 2017

Ratoath 2-14 Navan O'Mahony's 2-4

Ratoath's Intermediate Camogie team continued their winning ways in the Championship with a win over Navan O'Mahonys played with a slight wind on Ratoath Sean Eiffe's pitch on Tuesday evening.

The opening half got off to a flying start with Emma McNerney pointing in the first two minutes of play.  For the most part Ratoath dominated the play and went in holding a 1 - 6 to 1 - 2 interval lead with points coming from Niamh McLoughlin, Adrienne McCann, Emma McGill and a well worked goal from Adrienne McCann.  With only a 4 point lead Ratoath knew they were still in a game and came out strong in the second half with the opening point coming from Emma McNerney.  Ratoath went on a scoring spree and scored another 1 - 4 before Navan put a point on the board.  Ratoath quickly responded and pointed another 3 before Navan scored a late goal and point.   It's fair to say that Ratoath dominated the second half and there were strong performances all over the pitch.  Well done girls on a convincing win.
