Na Fianna 6-15 Boardsmill 2-8

Na Fianna Senior Ladies Footballers returned to winning ways last Saturday evening in Baconstown when they defeated Boardsmill's second string in Division 2 of the Senior league. The Na Fianna girls had all of the necessary work done by half time when they led by 3-9 to 0-8. They went on to score a further 3-6 in the second half while confining the visitors to two goals.

This was an all round good performance from the Na Fianna girls, but they will meet tougher challenges in their final two games as they strive for promotion.

Na Fianna's next League match will be played in mid June against St Michaels, arguably the best team in the Division.
