Ray Maloney

Last night's championship match marked 100 championship appearances for Ray Maloney. The midfielder has been on the go for quite some time but he has changed over the years. From his early Boyzone/Westlife loving days, Maloney was known on the pitch for his fiery temper and short fuse. He sported white boots, green boots, blue boots, he bleached his hair and grew a goatee. He even bleached the goatee. He then wore a blue knee bandage even though his knee was fine. He even bou…ght a leather jacket at one stage. We can all rememeber his sending off against Skryne in Navan when he threw his gloves into the crowd and even blue kisses at them. Maloney however, has matured since then. His short fuse is gone but his taste in music still remains the same. Well done on reaching the milestone and great to hear you'll be playing for another few years at least.
