Na Fianna's Ethan Devine

Na Fianna 3-11 Navan O'Mahonys 0-17

Na Fianna picked up a valuable home win that sees them move to joint second in the league.

Ethan Devine led the way with a 2-01 haul from midfield with his midfield partner Jamie Queeney netting the other goal.

Na Fianna started brightest with Barry Clancy and Conor Downey getting good points. Devine drone through the defence to goal spectacularly on twelve minutes as Na Fianna moved three ahead. A point from distance by Jamie Queeney left the score 1-07 to 0-6 to Na Fianna at half time.

Na Fianna were eight up but O Mahonys took over hitting five points on the trot. They looked good for drawing level but they were hit on the break by a Jamie Queeney goal. Michael Farley, impressive when introduced, strode forward from the half back line and placed Queeney one on one with the goalie where he duly blasted to the net.

O'Mahonys again hit back with two points but further points from Downey and Dean Henrick kept Na Fianna ahead at the final whistle.
