Former Dunshaughlin footballer takes over at Dunboyne

Former Dunshaughlin footballer Ciaron Byrne has been installed as senior manager to St Peters Dunboyne. 

Byrne was part of the very successful Dunshaughlin squad that won three Meath SFC titles between 2000 and 2002 and a Leinster Club SFC crown in 2002.

He takes over from Conor O'Donoghue who guided the club to Division 1 League and Feis Cup titles. Dunboyne were knocked out of this years hoganstand.com Meath SFC at the quarter final stage by eventual winners Simonstown.

The new manager will be joined by former Meath hero Brendan Reilly and former Dublin and St Brigids footballer Graham Norton.
