Cortown GFC are delighted to officially announce the return of Mattie McCabe who takes over from Davy Cahill as first team manager.

It's been over a decade since McCabe last took charge guiding Cortown to a Senior Quarter-Final way back in 2004. He will be joined on the sideline by Butch Casserly and Cormac O'Halloran. 

James (Ragsie) Matthews will take charge of second team duties along with Stephen Fitzmaurice, Ivan Coyne and Vino Keating. Mattie will have the chance to meet everyone on Friday evening in the hall at 7.30pm where he will give his brief on what's to come in 2017!

There's no doubt an ambitious character like Mattie will be targeting an immediate return to the Intermediate Championship and promotion from Division 4 after a disappointing 2016 on the field for Cortown.
