"They are seasoned and they have a bit of hurt on their side. They've failed a few times at this level so they'll have a point to prove. We're under no illusions of the battle we'll have in two weeks' time."

Cuala manager Mattie Kenny will be hoping to inflict more final heartache on Oulart-The Ballagh.

"We seemed to be always getting a bit up the hill and then we'd slip back down again. The hill literally got too big for us in the end."

His Clara counterpart Mick Purcell had no complaints after the final whistle in Parnell Park.

"Darren had a super game today, his two goals and his movement and positioning for the first goal was absolutely fantastic, a lovely wee knock down into the corner of the net, it was class."

Scotstown coach Mattie McGleenan was fulsome in his praise of Darren Hughes' contribution to their two point victory over Trillick.

"We knew they were going to bring serious intensity and we sort of figured that you can only keep that up for so long because our boys move well and work hard. At some stage, (it was a case of) who is going to burn out quickest here?"

Crossmaglen joint-manager John McEntee expected a tough test from Kilcoo.

"Going in at half-time, we were in a good position and the aim was to get a couple of goals and crack on. Thankfully we were able to do that."

Na Piarsaigh full-forward Kevin Downes gave his take on their Munster Club SHC semi-final victory over Thurles Sarsfields.

"We probably didn't make enough use of the wind but if Lar Corbett's chance had went under rather than over who knows what way the game might have turned."

It was a case of what might have been for Thurles selector Paddy McCormack.

"I don't know are we getting better, but this time of the year it's all about results. Any battle we've been involved in this season, we've come out the right side of them."

Nemo's appetite for battle is a key ingredient in their winning formula according to Stephen O'Brien.

"Next Sunday will be a different game. Nemo came out and play more ball than South Kerry. Nemo had one sweeper, where South Kerry are playing more of them."

Legion manager Peter Keane will be hoping for better luck in next Sunday's Kerry SFC final replay.

"If we're beaten by a better opposition the next day, grand, as long as we perform. There's a level there that they can reach, we're a certain amount up the ladder. Hopefully it will keep going. It's good for Tipperary."

Clonmel boss Charlie McGeever has Nemo in his sights now.
