The rain failed to dampen the crowds and some great displays of football at Day 1 of the Cumann Na mBunscol finals in Pairc Tailteann.

Dunboyne and Canninstown will have to do it all over again as the main final of the day as the Girls Division 1 final ended in a draw.

There was double joy for Lismullen as both the boys and girls brought home honours.

Rathmore girls retained their crown while there where also joy for Baconstown and Bohermeen.
