U15 FL: Points for Ratoath

St Vincents Curraha 4-8 Ratoath 5-7

Ratoath claimed the full points over neighbours St Vincents Curraha in the second round of the u15 football league on Saturday evening.The match played in warm sunshine in near perfect conditions in Ratoath proved to be a game of two halves. The first half was dominated by St Vincents/Curraha who outscore their hosts 3-6 to 0-4 in the first half.

Jack O'Connor who was in outstanding form kicked 3-1 in that first half. The second half belonged to Ratoath who did enough to claim a two point win with their final attack providing the winning goal. The losers will ponder the numerous second half wides and the disallowed goal which proved so costly at the final whistle.

St Vincents/Curraha had good performers in goalkeeper Evan Connor, Conor Harford, Oisin Fay and Jack O'Connor.
