St Ultans Katie O'Brien with Eimear Hetherton Oldcastle during the Meath Ladies SFC final at Paddy O'Brien Park.

After the excitement of the drawn match the Meath ladies senior football championship final replay will take place on Monday September 28th.

For long periods at Paddy O'Brien Park it looked as if St Ultans had done enough but Oldcastle staged a brilliant comeback to force a draw.

Both clubs will be sweating on the fitness of key players. St Ultans key player Katie O'Brien was forced to leave the field of play early in the second half. Oldcastle captain Sinead Coyle picked up a serious leg injury and the game was held up for 10 minutes.

On the plus side for the north Meath club they should be able to call on the experience of Eileen Rahill for the replay. The former county player missed the drawn game due to a family wedding.

Another large crowd is expected. Colm Mc Manus will again referee.
