Ratoath Report

Kildalkey 3-19 Ratoath 1-9

A spirited effort from an under strength Ratoath team was not enough to contain a much stronger Kildalkey outfit who have eyes firmly on winning the Junior hurling Championship in 2015. Some industrious defending and the free taking of Conleth McLarnon kept Ratoath in touch during a competitive first half before a Kildalkey team sprinkled with former and future senior hurlers brought their constant pressure to bear by adding several scores in the final quarter. Ratoath now progress to a Junior 2 Hurling Championship Semi Final against Boardsmill.

Ratoath: Colm Riordain, James Duffy, Roger Casey, James O'Brien, Pat Cashman, Sean Laffey, Keith O Brien, Alex Coakley, Conleth McLarnon, Patrick Briody, Eoghan Mulcahy, Mark Haskins, Daragh Grehan, Paul McDonnell, Fergus Conheady. Sub: Paddy Cummins for Daragh Grehan.

Scorers: Conleth McLarnon 0-7(0-5 fs), Paul McDonnell 1-0, Sean Laffey 0-1, Alex Coakley 0-1.
