Meath Under 16 hurlers were convincing winners of  the Adrian Murray Under 16 hurling tournament held at different venues throughout Westmeath on Saturday August 29th.

The tournament organised to honour Adrian Murray included Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon, Wicklow, Carlow, Westmeath, Derry, Down and Donegal.

Meath were placed in Group C along with Roscommon and Down. The young Royals recorded wins over both counties and topped their group.

In the semi final Meath defeated host county Westmeath 2-11 to 0-8 in Robinstown.

Donegal were defeated in the decider 2-15 to 2-3 at Cusack Park Mullingar.
