Management
Cortown GFC would like to extend a massive thanks to the management team of Con Cleary, John Henry, Barney O'Rourke and Trevor Coyne who called time of a hugely successful four year tenure after Friday nights final Intermediate Championship game against Kilmainham. In the 4 years, we achieved back to back promotion from division 4 into 2 in two years winning division 4 against Drumcondrath in 2012, runners up behind Ratoath in division 3 in 2013 and maintaining our division 2 status in 2014 despite being the only Junior team in the division. Progress was made in the championship in 2013 as Cortown reached the semi-final of the Junior A.

As we all know last year was a historic year for Cortown winning the Junior A championship after a thrilling couple of games against Dunboyne. This was Cortown's first championship win in a remarkable 18 years and the memories from last years campaign will never leave anyone from Cortown. The lads depart  having maintained our Intermediate status, we wish the lads every success in the future and would also like to wish Trevor Coyne well in his continued battle with illness.

Training
Training continues tomorrow night (Wednesday) at 8.00pm in Cortown for the upcoming Under 21 championship and All-Ireland 7's which takes places on All-Ireland final weekend.
