Secretary Francis Flynn outlined the need for proper presentation of games in the closing stages of the football and hurling championships at the special meeting of the County Committee in Aras Tailteann on Monday night.

Flynn asked the clubs involved in the games to co-operate with the given guidelines and warned that there will be fines for breaches of regulations.

A maximum of 30 players will be allowed on pitches with passes being issued to clubs. Players will not be admitted without passes and eight additional passes will be issued for officials.

The need for players to wear jerseys with numbers as per programme with Flynn remarking:  "There has been ridiculous abuse of this."

The secretary stated that only winning captain will initially be allowed on the victory podium for cup presentations with the rest of the players coming up for the speeches.

Children will not be allowed on the pitch or in the dugout and there will be no mascots.
