Holders Kiltale made it to the league final running out 4 point winners against Kildalkey in Trim.

Kiltale were always in control of this game and the third quarter goal by young Ross Ryan gave the champions a cushion the never relinguished.

Shane Mc Gann in the Kiltale goal showed all his experience with a string of fine saves and clearances.

Kiltale started without Padraig Kelly, Stephen Donoghue and Mark O'Sullivan but there greater fitness and energy in the last quarter saw them across the finishing line.

Padraig Kelly when introduced steadied midfield and hit a great point to put Kiltale 4 ahead nearing the end.

Ross Ryan dispossed the Kildalkey goalie and scored a great goal and another interception by him resulted in a point.

Jack Regan and James Kelly hit great points in the closing stages.

The winners had great performances from half backs Eamon Ryan and Ronan Ryan Anthony Fode in midfield.

Up front James Kelly, Cathal McCabe and Jack Regan battled hard and the inside line of Ross Ryan, Kevin Ryan and Wille Harnan were a constant threat.
