Dunsany 0-18 Ballivor 1-5

Dunsany impressed as they dispatched Ballivor on Friday evening.

Dunsany were slow to start as the conceded a goal in the opening minute. The home side battled back to level with points from Pierre Fox Darren Reilly and Ger O'Neill. Ballivor came back and added points but again Dunsany replied to level with points from Shane Brennan and Reilly, but the intermediate side had the last say of the half to go in a point ahead.

The second period was controlled by the skane siders as the restricted the visitors to one point in the second half. Brennan and Declan Smyth began to control midfield and the defence behind them mopped up anything that passed midfield.  Fox began to kick some impressive scores from distance, Reilly added frees superbly in the absence of Mark Brennan. Paddy Dunne added two points as did Smyth and O'Neill. Naill Thynne added the final score to seal a 0-18 to 1-5 victory.

Dunsany are now second in Divison 4 with two games left

Dunsany 5-16 St. Pauls 0-7

Dunsany had a comprehensive victory of St. Pauls on a sunny Wednesday evening.  Dunsany started brightly and never looked in any danger of losing this one. 2 first have goals from Kerryman Alan Kelly helped the home side take command. Mark and Shane Brennan added points with Kevin Keena and Kelly also contributed points.

In the second half Dunsany pushed on and emptied the bench with substitute Shane Walshe scoring two brilliant points from near the side line. Pierre fox also chipped in with some good scores including a penalty. Kelly completed his hat trick with a fisted effort and Keena finished the goal scoring with a close range goal. Midfielder Declan Smyth added a point as did Ger O'Neill and Conor Harkin.

Dunsany vs Meath Hill B league

Dunsany made the long trek to North Meath on a wet Thursday evening.

The vistors started the better and raced into an early lead with points from Robbie Maguire Diarmuid O'Donoghue and Conor Harkin. Maguire soon after added a goal with a neat finish to the corner.  Veteran Paul O'Donnell added a point as Nathan Pleavin added frees with impeccable accuracy as usual. Centre Back Paddy Dunne burst through the home sides defence to score a fantastic goal.

Half time Dunsany 2-8 Meath Hill 0-5

In the second half the north Meath outfit staged a near Westmeath like comeback as the rallied. They added 11 points to make their visitors sweat. Manager Andrew Keena felt he needed to add his experience to the cause and made an appearance.  Donned in white Nike Vapours 'cheesy' added a point from near the '45'. 'Keeper' Ciaran Flynn made a diving top corner save to keep Meath Hill at bay. Maguire and Pleavin added further points to see the visitors out.
