Simonstown were defeated by Curraha in the 'B' League on a final score line of 2-18 v.2-10.
Curraha led 1-10 v.2-4 at half-time. Keith Brady top scored for Simonstown scoring 1-3, the goal coming from a penalty after ten minutes.
Stephen Dillion got the second goal for the home team just before half-time . Points from Willie Stynes 0-2, Shane McHugh, Ben Treacy, Ciaran Reilly, Ronan Smith and substitute Eoin Prior kept Simonstown in touch, but Curraha pulled away and in the end the final score was 2-18 v. 2-10.
Shane McHugh, Ronan Smith, Keith Brady and Willie Stynes played well for Simonstown.

Curraha defeated Simonstown by 2.18 to 2.10 on a balmy evening in Simonstown.
Short a number of regulars, they still managed a fine win despite dogged resistence from the home side.
