Team news: Meath juniors to take on Carlow

Meath junior football team manager Sean Barry has named his team to take on Carlow in the Leinster junior football championship quarter final tonight.

Veteran Johnny O'Connor dons the goalkeeper jersey. Former Meath senior Chris O'Connor captains the team once more. Gavin McGowan and Michael Flood were part of  Barry's under 21 squad that lost out to Kildare in the Leinster semi final.

Daragh McNamara, Bobby O'Brien and Neil Shortall have all worn the Meath senior jersey in the past two years. Alan Farrell will partner Cian O'Brien at midfield.

Meath will look to their full forward line for scores. Kevin Ross, Ciaran Lynch and Ciaran Kelly have shown fine form with their clubs in recent championship games.

Throw in at Sean Eiffe park is at 7.30pm
