St Mary's        8-7
Moynalty        2-7

St. Mary's U16s booked themselves a place in the final with an impressive semi-final victory over Moynalty.

St. Mary's got off to a flying start when Eoin Flynn and Cian O'Brien found the back of the net inside the first two minutes. Another two points from Cian O'Brien and a goal from Peter Gogan put St. Mary's into the driving seat. Moynalty then found their feet and came close to a goal but keeper Adam Byrne came up with a fantastic save. Moynalty then kicked their first point of the game but the point was cancelled out by a splendid Cian O'Brien goal. Moynalty finished the first half strongly with a goal and three points leaving the score at 4-2 to St. Mary's and 1-4 to Moynalty at half-time.

St. Mary's started the second half the way they started the first half by racking up two goals and four points after just ten minutes of play. St. Mary's continued to dominate the game with points from Cormac Dunne and goals from Peter Gogan and Cian O'Brien. Moynalty got two points and a goal but it was too little too late and St. Mary's ran out 8-7 to 2-7 winners. An all round truly tremendous performance from all the players they are all a credit to their jersey.
