U14 FL: Carnaross blow St Michaels away

St. Michaels 1-3, Carnaross 2-11.

Carnaross took full advantage of the gale force wind in the opening half of this match on Saturday afternoon last. The home side were out of sight on a scoreline of 2-11 to 0-2 by the time Peter O'Halloran blew the half time whistle. Andrew Allen and Brian Reilly were the first half scorers for St. Michaels.

St. Michaels made a great start to the second half with Gerard Walsh finding the back of the net in the opening minute, however Brian Reilly was their only other scorer in the second half as both sides struggled to come to terms with heavy downpours which continued throughout the half. Justin McPhillips, Brian O'Reilly, Brian Reilly and Andrew Allen tried hard for St. Michaels.
