Another busy weekend for Meath ladies football teams

March 25, 2015

Meath senior ladies manager Diane O'Hora

Next Sunday Meath will travel to Armagh for Round 6 of the National League. Defeat to Donegal in round 5 will give Meath hunger to produce a good performance against last year's Ulster Champions. Many of the Meath girls were in action at the weekend at the O'Connor Cup Finals and will be looking forward to returning to the County set up. A tough game is expected and support is warmly welcomed.

The u14s are back in action in round 3 of their championship. Victory over Laois last time out will give Peter Byrne's side confidence ahead of Sunday's encounter with neighbours Louth.

Meanwhile, the Meath Minors will be hoping Longford can line out for what appears to be their last group game before semi-finals as Kilkenny have withdrawn from the competition (the last round game). Meath look set to top their group and qualify for semi finals in the Leinster 'C' Championship.
