Feis Cup Round Up

February 22, 2015

Skryne's Conor O'Brien with Kevin Ryan Summerhill during the opening round of the Feis Cup at Skryne

The opening round of the Feis Cup threw up a few surprises

Holders Seneschalstown are safely through while last years beaten finalists Dunboyne are dumped out by Gaeil Colmcille. Wolfe Tones had a goal to spare over neighbours Rathkenny. St Pats were too strong for intermediate champions Ballinlough. Simonstown won the battle of the town. Skryne forced extra time and eventually saw off the Summerhill challenge.

The Feis Cup results from a miserable day for football

Donaghmore Ashbourne 2-7 Duleek Bellewstown 0-9
Wolfe Tones 1-8 Rathkenny 0-8

St Patricks 3-5 Ballinlough 0-3
