The week in review:

Kilmainhamwood travelled to Wolfe Tones up near Drogheda for their second challenge match of the year and came away with a handsome victory. Captain Emmett Clarke elected to play with the wind and the 'Wood set about their task with gusto. The forwards tackled like tigers and turned-over a lot of ball which lead to scores aplenty. The defence was mean and uncompromising when called into action and midfield was the glue that stuck the two together. Two wins from two challenges sets us up nicely.

Kilmainhamwood get their All County Football League campaign underway this Sunday 1st Feb when they travel to Slane for an 11:30am throw-in. Things have been going well in training and we head into this campaign with a renewed sense of optimise. Please come along and support us and we begin our quest for silverware.
