Donal Keogan has been confirmed as Meath football captain for 2015.
The Rathkenny clubman takes over the role from long-time captain Kevin Reilly, who is expected to miss much of next season after undergoing hip surgery. Despite having just three seasons of inter-county action under his belt, Keogan has established himself as one of the Royals' key players and is recognised as one of the best man-markers in the game.
He received an All Star nomination for his defensive performances in his debut season of 2012.
