Scoil Bhride Kilbride claimed the Allianz Meath Cumann Na mBunscol Boys Division 2 Football title in fine fashion at Pairc Tailteann.

The opening game on a card of six saw the Kilbride school overturn an earlier group stage defeat to Cannistown in Bective.
Kilbride were the dominant team in the opening half and held a four point interval advantage. Midfielder Zach McGovern got the winners goal while the lively Josh Harford send over three points. A Con Smith goal and a David Barry point accounted for the Cannistown first half total.
The second half continued in the same pattern. Scoil Bhride stretched their lead to 1-10 to 1-3 with some fine points from McGovern, Harford and Ben Donnelly. Billy Reilly brought Cannistown back in to the game with a great goal. But Kilbride finished strongly and goals from Timmy Farrell and Aaron Nulty put the issue beyond doubt.
