Clann Na nGael advanced to the Under 21 B football championship final with this five point win over Ballivor at Kilmainham.

Clann na nGael started brightly and after a series of wides from both sides half forwards Eamon Ó Donncha and Dara Brogan sent Clann na nGael into a 0-2 lead which was quickly brought back level due to the accuracy of Ballivors free taker. Aaron Ennis added 0-2 , along with Dara Ó Griofa 0-1 and Caoimhin Ó Griofa sent Clann Na nGael ahead 1-5 to 0-2 lead before another Ballivor point. Clann Na nGael hit the back of the net after a tremendous build up from Caoimhin Ó Griofa to Eamon Ó Donncha before the finish from Aaron Ennis.
The closing ten mins of the first half belonged to Ballivor and a further 3 points frees left the half time score Clann na nGael 2-7 to Ballivor 0-6.
In the second half showed great resolute defending from Clann Na nGael backs, where Oran Fitzpatrick, Carl Kelly, Philip Garry and Ronan Mac Donncha stood out. Perhaps Ballivor could have been a lot closer due to their dominance of their midfield partnership but Clann Na nGael defended their lead. Clann na nGael breached the Ballivor defence but found their goalie in tremendous form. Aaron Ennis added 0-3 from frees in the second half. Ballivor couldn't narrow the gap and final score was 2-10 to 1-7
