U15FL: Strong second half earns home win for Na Fianna

Na Fianna and Summerhill met in Enfield on Saturday afternoon and it was the home side who emerged victorious with an excellent second half display in Division 1.

Summerhill were a real threat in the opening half with Conor Frayne causing havoc in the forwards.  Na Fianna were thankful for an excellent first half display from Sean Martin while Oran Smullen and Kean Flynn were also in great form. Shane Walsh and Vincent Ward scored Na Fianna's goals in this half to leave the score at half time 2-05 apiece and Na Fianna were fortunate to be level.

The home side took over in the second half with Vincent Ward in outstanding form and Daniel Devine winning his battle with Frayne at fuil back. Oisin McCloskey was tenacious at the back too as Shane Walsh finished with a huge haul of 2-07. Corner forward Kristan Crawford notched a well taken goal and a point also as Na Fianna collected their fourth win in a row.
