Ballinabrackey 1-11
Ratoath 1-10

Ballinabrackey qualified for the Intermediate Football Championship final with a one point win over Ratoath at Lomans Park Trim. The Bracks will meet Ballinlough in the final.

A Bryan McMahon goal gave Ratoath a 1-2 to 0-2 lead after ten minutes. Almost immediately Trevor Bannon flicked the ball to the Ratoath net and the teams were level. The winners lost key defender Nicky Judge to two yellow cards but went in at the break 1-7 to 1-5 ahead.

A great defensive display in the second half that limited Ratoath to five points was enough to give the Offaly border outfit a well deserved victory. Ratoath were reduced to 14 men following the dismissal of Bobby O'Brien in the closing stages.
