Seneschalstown take on Dunboyne in the Feis Cup final at Pairc Tailteann. With the advent of the Intermediate Cup this is the first year the competition was solely for senior clubs.
Seneschalstown put back to back victories in this competition in 2007 and 2008 while Dunboyne have to go back to 2004 for thier last title. Dunboyne have to go back to 2004 for their last title.
The teams met in the 2008 final with The Yellow Furze men coming out on top 4-15 to 2-18 after extra time.
Both teams will be disappointed with their championship form. St Peters lost to Skryne in their final group game and failed to qualify for the group while Seneschalstown went out in the preliminary quarter final losing to Summerhill.
On their way to the final Seneschalstown have scored 11 goals in three games including six against Rathkenny in round 1. Joe Sheridan hit 2-5 while Bryan Clarke chipped in with 1-5. In the quarter final Clarke and Sheridan accounted for 2-9 in their win over St Pats. Sheridan and Clarke were at it again in the semi final win over Summerhill, Bryan with 1-4 and 1-3 for Joe.
After an opening round win over Skryne Dunboyne accounted for neighbours Dunshaughlin with 11 points to spare. Former Kerry footballer David Geaney kicked six points while county minor Ronan Jones sent over 3. St Peters sent hoders O'Mahonys crashing out in the semi final.
