Championship Update: Holders are out

Champions Summerhill were dumped out of the hoganstand.com Meath SFC race by Wolfe Tones in Pairc Tailteann. Two fine strikes from Shane Glynn and Ciaran McLoughlin in the second half swung the game in the Tones direction.

Na Fianna progressed to the semi final with a three point win over Simonstown at Lomans Park Trim.

Oldcastle will play intermediate football in 2015 after losing out to Rathkenny in a senior relegation match at Kilmainhamwood.

Ballinabrackey, helped by two first half goals from Andrew Munnelly, stunned favourites Ballivor to advance the the Intermediate semi final with an eight point win in Trim. Ratoath will join them in the semi final after they overcame Syddan after extra time in Paitc Tailteann.

St Patricks are the Junior C football championship winners after their repaly win over Blackhall Gaels in Kilbride.

Longwood claimed their first piece of silverware in a few years with a hard fought win over St Marys in the Division 4 league final at Bective.
