The hoganstand.com Meath Ladies club football team of the week.

What a weekend for ladies football. Four county finals, three on Saturday and on on Sunday. Seneschalstown, Simonstown, Dee Rangers and Moylagh went home with the silverware. We pick our best XV.

Louise Magee Dunne Summerhill. Cleared her lines to great effect and denied Simonstown with five top class saves in the intermediate final.

Aodhnait McAdam Seneschalstown. The 'player marker' in the Seneschalstown defence. Was always there for the break and constantly came out of defence with possession.

Philomena Sheridan Seneschalstown. The rock at the heart of the Seneschalstown defence. Used  all her experience to keep St Ultans at bay in the senior decider.

Emma Cassidy Simonstown. Like her sister at number 5, great in defence and not afraid to venture forward. Completed a great year having won an All Ireland colleges with Loreto back in April.

Aisling Cassidy Simonstown. Player of the match performance form the wing back. Kicked a point a drove at the Summerhill defence at every opportunity.

Yvonne Barden St Ultans. Cleared from defence time and again despite being under constant pressure from the Seneschalstown attack.

Aisling Sheridan Simonstown. Like Cassidy on the other wing defended when needed and went forward at every opportunity in the intermediate final.

Ailbhe McHugh Simonstown. Commanding display from the midfielder, scored two points as Simonstown secured their place in the senior ranks.

Mary Murray Seneschalstown. Made a return to action this year for the championship. The team captain led by example and dominated the middle sector of the park in the senior final.

Orla Sheridan Seneschalstown. Brilliant work rate from the wing forward. Scored four points and was always willing to run at the St Ultans defence.

Lisa Young Dee Rangers. A goal and five from the skilful Rangers number 11. Set up numerous scores for her team mates in the junior decider.

Aoife Gibney Moylagh. 2-3 from the Moylagh star along with the player of the match award as Ollie Melia's charges took Junior B honours.

Becks Goodwin Dee Rangers. Player of the match in the junior final. Score an impressive 3-2 as Dee Rangers stormed to the title.
