Run for the Cure this weekend

The Run for the Cure, featuring the Paddy Tobin Memorial Perpetual Cup 5k run, will take place this Saturday July 26th in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.

Sisters Sonya and Ena Tobin are very involved in the running world while brother Sean Tobin is a well-known footballer in the county and captain of Simonstown Gaels' senior team.

Due to the sudden loss of their very popular dad - former Cavan footballer Paddy Tobin - to the cruel disease cancer they have embarked in raising funds to find a cure.

The run is a 5k on this Saturday the 26th July starting at the Rathholdron Road, Navan and finishes at the Blackwater Park Navan.

Start time for juniors 10.30, seniors 11.am, children welcome, come on out everyone get fit you can run or walk it, you can register on the day or go to the website www.runforthecure.ie.

Entry fee is 15 euro for adults and 10 euro for juniors.
