55,000 expected at Leinster final

Around 55,000 is expected in Croke Park for the Leinster Final.
A crowd in the region of 55,000 is expected at Sunday's Leinster SFC final between Dublin and Meath.

When the counties met in last year's provincial decider, the attendance was 54,485 and Leinster Council chiefs are predicting that the crowd at Croke Park this weekend will be something similar.

The final should realise over €1 million in gate receipts, which will certainly help to soften the blow of the five Garth Brooks concerts not going ahead at GAA headquarters.
