Walterstown got off to the worst possible start conceding a goal from a high ball kicked into the square which caused confusion between the goalie and J Farrelly and it ended up dropping into the net with only 3minutes on the clock.

Walterstown settled down after this and moved the ball well but found scores hard to come by, Nobber added two more points and led 1 - 1 to no score after 15 mins.

Walterstown then produced a nice move that was worked from midfield and was passed to full forward A.Brown who slotted past the Nobber goalie from close range after 17mins. Walterstown then kept the pressure on and scored a lovely point from J McLoughlin.

Nobber struck again after 20 mins with a well taken goal and another point from a free.

After 26 minutes Walterstown lost their first player C Farrelly to a black card for some dissent shown towards the referee, he was replaced by M Dean. Walterstown scored a free by A Brown in the last minute of first half Leaving the score at half time Nobber 2 - 2 (8) Walterstown 1- 2 (5)

Walterstown got the scoreboard ticking over with the first point of second half now trailing just by two points they were back in the game, However their hopes of a comeback were dashed when Nobber Centre back started a great move and continued his run and picked up the ball on the 21 yard line and blasted high into the net.

Nobber added 3 more points in this period of dominance J McLoughlin added another point for Walterstown after 42 Minutes.

Walterstown kept working hard but kicked to many wides as the game moved on after 50 minutes M O Meara received a black card for a off the ball foul and was replaced by N Reynolds Walterstown scored 2 more points later in the game One from A.Browne from a free and M Clarke with a nice point from play.

A well taken 15th minute goal from Fiachra McEntee following a great run and points from Andrew and Stephen O Brien saw Nobber lead at the break.
On the resumption Walterstown looked lively but we're killed off by a smart Andrew O Brien goal followed by a brace of Fiachra McEntee points
