Mayo P.R.O
Strange that Ms Horan did not get a single nomination to stand as P.R.O once more. Shocked to hear that only a handful of clubs bothered to return nomination forms...sad.

Mayo Panel 2009
At least seven of the first named squad have been given a chance and are not the answer. Boyle, O Malley x2, Conroy, Gill, A Moran and P Kelly are not going to get better. Bring in fresh blood from the u21 2004-2008. Micheal Conroy is a must plus the two O Sheas. Time for Barry Moran to step up as well. Also time to shift the focus away from Dillon and Conor , both are average and we depend too much on them. We need a full forward that can win ball and score. No one ever won an All Ireland solely depending on a right half forward and a right corner forward.

Barry Kelly
good player but in my view he isnt as good without james kilcullen beside him.. in the first btubber game wen kilcullen was suspended e was nowhere to be seen with his marker on the day producing a very impressive performance,, in the replay when kilcullen returned the dominated in the middle.. a few league games wit mayo mite prove mre wrong tho

Peter Vesey
i remember not so long ago vesey being left out controversially in the county junior semi final when an obviously unfit shane moran returned from america to take his place in the team. it shows the character in the man that he could return from such psychological blow to have the season he had this year where he has shone. I heard a rumour that the dipper is contemplating playing for the roscommon u-21s if johno continues it ignore him due to him being from carracastle? any truth in this rumour?

The new Mayo Jersey
Think Alison is right. Launch will be on 27th and avialble to purchase from 28th November. Took me a while to get used to the current one, although now I am a fan. Have seen the new Dub jersey on a link on the mainpage. It looks like a soccer jersey. No collar. A bit like Man Citys. Hope O'Neills make a better job of our one ! !

Peter Vesey
so ballman you seem to know a bit about this guy and the area..is this vesey fella the real deal or is he just another hair on the big dippers moustache??from what i seen that day he has raw ability and raw strength...the only problem is,he seemed to be carrying a few mince pies...now i know it was a few weeks after christmas, but by the sounds of things he trying to turn this into muscle??if he does would he be tempted back to the AFL or would he play senior with Charlestown and Mayo this year??140kg aint enough,he wasnt doing 160kg in national school whilst doing his 6 time tables from what my cousin told me...

Peter Vesey
Finally "The dipper" Vesey is getting the respect and exposure he deserves. I was down in the gym in charlestown last week and met the dipper in there with a certain Tom Parsons who had just returned home from Australia. I was impressed when Parsons threw 90kg up on the bench press until I saw what Vesey threw up, a bindblowing 140kg no problem to him at all. This most surely mean that Johno has given the dipper a weights programme for the winter with a view to him playing in the championshp next year at some stage?
