The cost of running the Mayo senior football team and management came in at just under €1 million.

For the 2016 campaign, the cost to prepare the side was €992,054, which is an increase of over €415,000 from the previous year.

Travelling expenses rose by €14,000 to €379,549, while catering costs trebled to €324,281 for the year.

Medical expenses was another area that saw an increase in spending as this cost the county €120,982, up from €35,000 from 2015.
