Mayo needed extra time to see off Cavan in the All Ireland Masters football final at Ballinagh

Eddie Conroy's extra-time goal proved crucial as Mayo were crowned All-Ireland Masters (Over 40s) football champions for the first time time since 2009 at Ballinagh today.
As in the replay three weeks ago in Clonberne when Kevin Filan's late free earned Mayo a replay, extra-time was needed, but this time the Westerners were able to pull away after the sides were tied at 0-10 to 1-7 at the end of normal time.
