Six members of the Mayo squad were forced to miss county championship action through injury last weekend.

The Mayo management team are monitoring the situation closely, but they have until July 19th to get their players right as that is when the Connacht final is pencilled in for.

A trio of Ballintubber players missed their win over Aghamore last weekend as Alan Dillon (hamstring), Cillian O'Connor (knee) and Diarmuid O'Connor (fractured wrist) are all sidelined.

Ballaghderreen's Andy Moran is trying to overcome a knee injury, while Kevin Keane missed Westport's clash with an ankle problem.

Also sitting on the sidelines last weekend was Castlebar's Tom Cunniffe who is nursing a hamstring injury at the moment.
