Mayo could soon have another dual star in their midst as county footballer Michael Conroy is set to line out with the Ballyhaunis hurlers this year.

Conroy was one of a number of players that was granted 'permission' to line out with the club for who he played with at underage level.

The talented forward will playing alongside his cousin and county football captain Keith Higgins who has managed to juggle both codes in recent years.

Whether or not, Conroy reaches county level standard remains to be seen, but he will be a huge addition to the Ballyhaunis fold.
