Longford to host Hastings Cup semi-finals

The two Hastings Cup semi-finals have been fixed for Longford venues on Saturday.

Holders Roscommon will take on neighbours Mayo in Rathcline, while Oliver Lynch Park in Abbeylara will host the meeting of Galway and Leitrim. Both games will throw in at 2pm.

In the Shield semi-finals, Tipperary play Laois in Dunbeggan, while Kerry face Monaghan in Ardagh, both at 2pm.

The U21 football competition, which has been running for the past three weeks, is used by teams to prepare for the U21 championship which gets underway next month.
