Gavin Duffy's much-anticipated Mayo debut remains on hold after he wasn't included in the starting XV to face Roscommon in today's Connacht FBD League third round clash at MacHale Park.

The former Connacht and Ireland rugby international was named in the team to meet IT Sligo last weekend, only to be withdrawn at the last minute due to paperwork concerns.

Joint-managers Pat Holmes and Noel Connelly have included big guns Lee Keegan, Colm Boyle and Seamus O'Shea in their line-up for today's game. A win for the Connacht champions will set up a final date with old rivals Galway next Sunday.
