All eyes and ears were on Croke Park today as Kerry and Mayo collided in the first of this year's All-Ireland SFC semi-finals.

Both sides were packed with quality footballers while at the helm were two master tacticians in James Horan and Eamonn Fitzmaurice, so a fascinating contest was in store. It did not disappoint.

Four-in-a-row Connact champions Mayo were bidding to qualify for a third consecutive Sam Maguire Cup decider, but to do so they would have to do something they hadn't achieved since 1996: beat Kerry in the championship.

The hors d'oeuvre was pretty tasty too, with the same two counties locking horns for a place in the minor final (1:30).

As ever, the hoganstand.com Match Tracker kept you bang up to speed with all the action direct from GAA HQ.
